Personnel Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of first-line managers, supervisors, and clinicians, including addressing disciplinary issues, recruitment, and performance management. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all national, provincial, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards. Stakeholder & Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, government agencies, and community organizations to ensure smooth, integrated, and effective service delivery. Clinical Governance & Performance: Monitor and improve clinical care standards, audit operational procedures, and manage risk, including reviewing serious incidents. Resource Management: Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure the maintenance and readiness of vehicles and equipment.

Maintenance & Operations: Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure emergency readiness. Vehicle Compliance: Ensuring ambulances meet all safety, legal, and medical equipment standards (e.g., MOTs, vehicle inspections). Inventory & Asset Management: Managing the procurement, upkeep, and disposal of ambulances, equipment, and consumables. Logistics & Scheduling: Coordinating vehicle deployment, tracking real-time locations, and optimizing routes for emergency responses. Safety & Budgeting: Overseeing staff training on safety procedures, managing repair budgets, and monitoring fuel consumption.
