About
I am an MA Technical and Specialised Translation graduate with experience in translation, vendor management and English language teaching. I am thorough by nature and pay close attention to detail, traits which helped earn me a distinction for my MA project, a translation of a Spanish medical article on multiple sclerosis, and led to my being selected for an internship at the UN specialized agency, the International Maritime Organization, during my MA. I also received a distinction in spoken Spanish for my BA in French and Hispanic Studies. In addition to French and Spanish, my travels and studies have given me the opportunity to study Portuguese, Latin, Nahuatl (an indigenous Mexican language) and Romanian. I enjoy learning new skills and am always eager to build on the linguistic expertise gained during my language degrees and subsequent employment.
