I love coffee. I hate how self-important it can be. Roasted by Mom is my response to all the jargon, gatekeeping, and overhyped branding. I just wanted to make something good. Coffee that tastes great, feels real, and doesn’t come with a lecture. Right now, we’re roasting in small batches, running on grit and caffeine. We support nonprofits doing real work for women in coffee-growing regions, and we’re building toward more direct sourcing as we grow. It’s a one-woman show over here. I roast, pack, ship, market, and occasionally cry over green coffee prices. But I wouldn’t trade it. If you’re into good coffee, weird brands, or building stuff from the ground up—cool. Me too.
