*Lead development of automated bioreactor-based processes for an autologous stem cell therapy product. *Design and implement validation studies for cell-based methods (Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Safety testing), including authoring comprehensive protocols and reports.

*Established methods to evaluate the functionality of gene-edited HSPCs; authored protocols and trained research fellows to ensure effective knowledge transfer. *Designed and executed in vivo experiments using mice models, including system setup from the ground up; developed protocols, applied transplantation techniques, and trained staff in ethical animal handling.

*Planned and conducted experiments to enhance the purity and the efficiency of cell therapies. *Authored protocols for both routine GMP manufacturing and development studies. *Performed cell therapy manufacturing in team-based operations, including isolation, expansion, manipulation and cryopreservation of mesenchymal stromal cells and hematopoietic stem cells.

At the Frankel laboratory for experimental bone marrow transplantation, Schneider Children’s Medical Supervisor: Dr. Nadir Askenasy. Thesis title: The signaling mechanisms of TNF receptors in human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. Professional Experience: * Established a system to characterized the resistance of human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPC) to apoptosis mediated by death ligands. * Utilized techniques in human hematopoietic cells biology; target cells isolation, apoptotic assays, transplantation in mice models (xenotransplantation), semisolid cultures, FACS analysis and more. * Performed microarray analysis to evaluate the molecular configuration of HSPC resistant to apoptosis.

Thesis title: Determining the topology of the Arabidopsis thaliana AtMHX transporter, and the function of homologous protein from different plant species. Supervisor: Dr. Orit Shaul Professional Experience: * Set up a system to determine the topology of a novel protein transporter in plants by using gene cloning, plant cell culture transformation, purification of chimeric proteins and Western blot analysis. * Characterized homologous proteins at the bioinformatics level and design constructs for excess expression of the homologues proteins.
