Advise on develoment of new vaccines

TNG is developing a vaccine for cattle against the toxic effects of the saliva of the horn fly.

Helped develop a new company (Vaxin) to address research and development of non-invasive adenovirus vectored vaccines. Secured patent counsel for patent portfolio. Responsible for obtaining over $8M in non-dilutive financing to create new vaccines including intranasal vaccines for seasonal influenza, pandemic influena and anthrax. Secured international agreements for use of cell lines; marketing agreement resulting in a significant investment in Vaxin and multiple INDs to conduct clinical studies for non-invasive vectored vaccines.

Supervised construction of a new $4M laboratory, developed patent portfolio for recombinant pox virus technology, served on International Corporate Research Committee, established and validated internal SOPs and Protocols.

Worked with PC Kennedy as my major professor - author of Jubb and Kennedy text on Pathology of Domestic Animals. Went to UC San Francisco and took human pathology courses at the Medical School.

Excellent, broad veterinary education. Worked way through school as an X-ray technician at Poudre Valley Hospital evenings and on Saturdays. Developed a strong interest in research, pathology and radiology.
