My major responsibility is to crystalize ALBA Group Asia's World Without Waste vision into reality by identifying, developing and participating in projects on reducing waste systematically from commercial, industrial and households; and returning the waste to the material recycling loop to foster circular economy and carbon neutrality. I also act as the Director and Project Manager of the WEEE·PARK that is currently collecting and recycling over 20,000 tons of waste electrical & electronic equipment per year.

I am the head of a business unit with supervising around 50 members in the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), which about 90% of my sub-ordinates are professional staff with bachelor degrees or above. The business foci of that unit are on research and development of environmental technologies, environmental management & engineering, waste management and recycling, corporate sustainability & ESG, cleaner production, air / water / noise pollution control, development and implementation of government funding and accreditation schemes, policy research and studies, green community facilitation, etc. Between 2004 and 2007, I doubled as the Deputy General Manager in a wholly owned subsidiary of HKPC in Mainland China, the Productivity (Dongguan) Consulting Co., Ltd., to promote the services of HKPC in PRC. I also doubled the role of Principal Consultant from 2006 to 2009 at the newly formed Automotive Industry Development Division responsible for the research & development of parts and accessories of environmental friendly vehicles. In 2013/2014, I took up the post to establish and head the new Marketing & Industrial Support Unit in the Living Innovation Branch (previously named as Technology Development Branch), and I was mainly responsible for developing marketing strategies, planning and implementing marketing activities for promoting HKPC services as well as providing industrial support services to various sectors. I am the Deputy Programme Director and also the first Programme Manager for the development and implementation of the HK$2 Billion Recycling Fund, aiming to assist the recycling industry to achieve sustainable development and divert locally generated solid waste from landfills.
