Railway Level Crossing Safety: • Development of the Victorian Safety Interface Agreement (SIA) management tool. • Preparation and co-ordination of VicRoads Whole-of-Government response to the Parliamentary Road Safety Committee Inquiry into Safety at Level Crossings. • Development of VicRoads input into the Victorian Rail Level Crossing Safety Strategy • Coordination of studies into: Traffic Signals at Level Crossings Rumble Strips at Level Crossings Active Advanced Warning Signs Heavy Vehicle Risk Assessment Key Outcomes: SIA management tool agreed by SIA Sub Committee.
