Researched and developed new photo albums and related products for market introduction. Worked with suppliers and internal team to qualify new raw materials, and write specifications. Ensured critical portion of product line was photo safe, met quality specifications and ISO requirements. Key results: ASQ Certified Quality Auditor - Audited supplier materials, manufacturing processes, documentation and quality assurance as part of the raw material qualification process for a world class album manufacture. Researched and transitioned photo album production line from animal glue to synthetic water based adhesive to reduce warp and fungal growth across entire photo album line producing 300-500K units per year. Spearheaded joint company/supplier project that successfully eliminated the problem of color rub off and bleed in the textile cover for a premiere photo album line utilizing thousands of yards of material per year.

Project manager for new product development of retention, drainage and formation chemistry for paper machine wet end applications which improved paper machine performance. Conducted research projects in the following areas: wet and dry strength resins, mineral fillers, and scale control. Completed projects from inception through field trail phase to product roll out to the field. First Line Manager Key results: Developed a new line of emulsion polymers that sold over $1,200,000 after one year and $3,000,000 after 5 years. Developed new polymer technology for fine paper customer that improved paper quality and increased machine production by 5%. This resulted in $3,000,000 in increased revenue/year. Applied polymer program to tissue machine that resulted in more efficient operation saving the customer $1,300,000/year
