The journey so far, A Civil Engineer keen on Sustainable Engineering research and practice. Over the years, I've been a design and field expert in Structural and Transportation Engineering. Garnering proficiency in a myriad of design and analysis software, International and American design codes (IBC, ASCE 7-22, ACI 318, AISC 360, NDS-18), and British building codes (BS 8110, BS 6399, and BS 5950). My interests lie in aspects of this niche geared towards sustainability; Infrastructural (ranging from steel, concrete, timber, and composite materials), transport systems and control, and public health. This is evident in being awarded a distinction in my undergraduate thesis, and the subsequent publishing of my debut paper internationally (based on my thesis) in 2020, which focused on an Analysis of the flexural strength of Nigerian-made engineered wood (Glulam). A novelty in the history of research and publication approach in Nigeria. Recently, I completed a post-graduate degree in Transport Systems (MSc.) at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom, graduating as the Best student (Summa cumm laude), with an Outstanding thesis award. Over the years, I've been fortunate to have received awards like the Dean's Leadership Award by my Alma mater (Nnamdi Azikiwe University) as a past President (2019), Senate member (2016), and two-time consecutive Director of Social and Welfare for the National Association of Civil Engineering Students (2017-2018). An International Students Merit Award by NTU, and my recent academic excellence award. I love my life outside Academia (it's just as eclectic). Multitalented, and an artist at heart.
