I am a recruiter for GA MENTOR, a therapeutic foster care program. I help children in foster care have a place to call home, away from home. I specialize in targeting families who have the desire to open their hearts and their homes to children in need. We call our foster parents "Mentors". I'm responsible for guiding new prospective Mentors through the IMPACT process. IMPACT is an acronym which stands for "Initial Interest, Mutual Selection, Pre-service Training, Assessment, Continued Development, and Team Work. Once certified, our foster families have the skills and tools needed to truly make a difference not only in a child's life, but their own.
