- Handled day-to-day KYC operations for China, Southeast Asia (SEA), Africa and Middle East, making sure all reviews met AML compliance standards and were completed accurately within Service-Level Agreement (SLA). - Performed Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for customers across various regions, assessing risk levels and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. - Proactively represented the team by communicating achievements, challenges, and updates to team leads and managers. - Maintained and updated Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) based on regulatory and policy changes, presenting revisions in weekly huddles to ensure team alignment. - Oversaw onboarding and training for junior associates, ensuring proper understanding of KYC procedures and SOP to drive efficiency and minimize errors. - Supported junior team members as the primary contact for questions and complex cases, helping the team maintain strong regulatory compliance.

- Reviewed and removed inappropriate or illegal content across multiple digital channels in line with platform and legal guidelines. - Coordinated with legal teams and SMEs on escalated cases to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy standards. - Supported quality checks and helped train new team members on review processes.s performance.

Although it was just a mandatory internship required by my university, this has been a fun internship experience! While I was there, I've made new friends and learnt new soft skills that can be used in any workplace!
