UK & Ire Finance Country Integration Lead for the EDS acquisition (November 2008 to Sept 2009). I lead the finance integration of EDS into HP’s systems, legal structure and organization. I represented the finance function on the country integration team. This role had a high level of project management, issue resolution and management of change. The UK integration completed on 1st August 2009 and Ireland in June 2009.

UK & Ireland Finance Manager for the HP StorageWorks Division (annual revenues in the UK & Ireland of $200M). My high level objectives were: Provide benchmark finance support to the UK&I StorageWorks business in order to drive our objectives of increased market share, profitability, customer satisfaction and predictability. Lead the month-end close process, forecast processes and management reporting activities on behalf of the business and provide support to StorageWorks bids. Provide active support to the business management team and develop strong relationships with our internal and external partners.

I was the first team member to join the Treasury Centre covering EMEA when it was established in the UK in December 1996. My first position was as Treasury Analyst and I was promoted to Treasury Consultant in July 1997. My title changed to Treasury Manager in 2003. In this role, I was the consultant responsible for the UK and Ireland group of companies, the pan-European company and a number of HP’s special purpose vehicles. Areas of particular focus are Pan-European cash management, E-Commerce, foreign exchange hedging issues (both balance sheet and P&L) and general business consulting. I provided extensive treasury consulting support to HP’s new subsidiaries and branches in the Middle East, Africa and the CIS.
