Worked at one location for 23 years before being laid off during down-sizing. Originally a government facility that was eventually put on the BRAC (Baseline Re-alignment and Closure) List. But an agreement between the City of Indianapolis , the Government - Department of Defense, and Hughes Corporation Privatized the facility and kept it opened. One year later Raytheon Technical Service Center acquired Hughes Corporation. See below for specific details while employed at each company.

* I monitored the quality of the products, segregation, documentation, and security of printed packaging components during production operations. I communicated ‘Out of Control’ observations to management. *  * Eliminated contamination by performing line clearances during and after production. *  * Maintained the system of retained production samples for investigations and traceability *  * Increased acceptance rate by investigating and resolving production deviations. *  * Optimized training records for all CPH Indianapolis personnel by inputting records into new system *  * Maximized traceability by managing ‘Test Production Samples’ via CPH procedures. *  * Improved accuracy by performing comparator analysis (text verification). *  * Achieved compliance by conducting random inspections of the production process using established Clondalkin Pharma & Healthcare (CPH) procedures. *  * Assisted senior quality monitors to resolve customer complaints.

* I worked with Quality, Purchasing and Customer Service departments to ensure that new products are being added into the system accurately and efficiently. Implemented and conducted cycles counts/audits and assist with year-end physical inventory at outside public warehouses. I generated and submit monthly cycle count variance reports to Senior Management.  * Introduced and implemented a cycle count program which reduced the amount of time to complete the ‘Year End’ Physical Inventory (PI) by more than 50% (from 3 to 4 days to 1.5 days).  * Increased the inventory accuracy by .28% (from 99.59% to 99.87%)  * Eliminated inventory discrepancies by researching and resolving products integrity issues  * Maximized Physical Inventory (PI) audits to verify accuracy of products.

As the Quality Engineering ISO Documentation Manager, I was responsible for getting processes documented during the transition from government into private industry. Other duties included resolving technical problems during the inspection and acceptance of government product. I performed follow-up investigations of post-delivery product failures  Reduced the item cost and decreased the lead time, while expediting the delivery of ‘finished good. Cost Savings of over 200K over 5 years.  Improved work instructions while monitoring the version control process to assure changes were being documented and incorporated.  Introduced a new Procurement/Quality Policy. Development and implementation and trained over 60 individuals to new quality policies, requirements, and procedures within two weeks without delays in procurement or without creating system downtime in Procurement
