Kelly Estrada Orozco

I am a medical surgeon graduated in 2010 from the National University of Colombia. I have a Master's degree in Neuroscience and biology of human behaviour from the University of Murcia in Spain in 2014. I also completed a master's degree in Clinical Epidemiology at the National University of Colombia in 2018, an internship in diagnostic test methodology at the Kansas University Medical Center in the United States (2018) and the expert program in continuous quality improvement of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement USA (2019), PhD in public Health (2024) and PhD candidate in Clinical Epidemiology. My research experience is related to the methods in diagnosis test, development of integrative studies and evidence synthesis for systematic reviews of the literature, health technology assessments and clinical practice guidelines. I’m expert in quantitative analysis and methods to evaluate the improvement and impact of interventions in healthcare and health systems. Also I am a member of the group of Cochrane, the GRADE working group and GRADE Colombia group where I support the generation of evidence evaluation methods. Currently working as the Technical Director at the Colombian health technology assessment agency IETS and as head of the patient safety research unit at the National University of Colombia.
