* Key Achievements/Responsibilities: * Successful day-to-day management of the Reception and Reservations departments of a large Blackpool sea-front hotel (The Clifton), which attracted tens of thousands of guests annually. * Implemented a number of HR, management and administration procedures, guidelines and standards. * Responsible for the implementation of a non-discriminatory, all-inclusive Recruitment and Selection process for hiring new members of staff, and for subsequently providing an effective mentorship service, to ensure each member of staff was provided with the relevant training and support mechanisms required. * Provision of a professional front of house service focused on the needs of the customers and guests. * Exceeded company targets with regards increasing occupancy rates and repeat bookings. * Responsible for all financial transactions, including cash floats for all departments, balancing the safe and till, petty cash, and processing all payments in and out.
