Coordinated month and year end close while preparing and posting daily cash activities with ERP software and Microsoft Excel methods. * Collaborated to close prior year and 4 months of financial data while learning a new position and software and also, while still keeping current monthly activity up to date. * Created tracking system to ensure that real estate tax payments were made in a timely manner and therefore, minimizing the payment of penalties and interest.

A national, new and refurb Telecom solutions company with $26M in annual net revenue headquartered in St. Louis. Provided financial support to operations management with general ledger, profit & loss and balance sheets regarding the profitability of product lines, maintenance and repair services and other business lines through variance analysis. Managed the daily cash account balances and inventory integrity using ERP software and Microsoft Excel. * Developed a method to ensure all revenue and related costs were captured in the same month for “drop ship” orders. Thereby, assisting in the accuracy of gross margin analysis. * Worked directly with CFO to establish a procedure for the remote deposit and processing of customer checks received by mail, which shortened the delay in deposit recognition by 2-3 days and eliminated the possibility of lost deposits. * Established cross functional team relationships with purchasing, repair and receiving to guarantee timely submission of inventory management paperwork, thereby ensuring inventory accuracy. * Performed first ever fixed asset audit which lead to the disposition of hundreds of old assets and the reduction in personal property tax.
