About
Strategic Director with extensive experience leading global teams and driving clinical trial success in neurology and rare diseases. Skilled at building scalable medical infrastructures and fostering cross-functional collaboration to accelerate product launches. Adept at cultivating strong partnerships with KOLs, regulators, and patient communities to inform evidence generation and medical strategy. Passionate about leveraging predictive analytics and compliance-driven innovation to transform medical affairs into a strategic business partner. Open to connecting with peers and industry leaders to share insights and advance patient-centric solutions. As a Medical Affairs expert, I have led launch planning and execution for pipeline products in Epilepsy (DEEs), Parkinson's disease, erythropoietic protoporphyria, and other rare diseases, collaborating with global colleagues and cross-functional teams. As a people leader, my philosophy is to develop people to be the best they can be, through situational leadership, individual development discussions and open communication channels. My goal is to bridge the gap between science and business, make quick decisions (and not be afraid to fail), and to make a positive difference in the lives of people with unmet medical needs.

Postdoctoral Trainee
Portland, OR
I was a Postdoctoral Trainee on a NIA T32 grant focused on the neurobiology of aging and translational research, managed by Dr. Henryk Urbanski. My mentor was Dr. Joseph Quinn. The research focused on elucidating the role of transition metals in the progression of neurodegenerative tauopathies. Also, I developed assays to screen for inhibitors of tau aggregation and phosphorylation. Finally, I was certified in Human Investigations in order to successfully design, implement and analyze clinical trials. I successfully obtained a pilot grant from the Oregon Alzheimer's Disease Center to develop an accelerated aging mouse model that develops tauopathies in the absence of any genetic mutations. This work provided me with project management, personnel management, grant writing, budgeting, publication writing and presentation skills. I also was able to build and maintain KOL relationships and expand my medical knowledge.
