About

I like building scalable, high performance applications with the latest technologies out there while also keeping an eye out for cyber security. Not just web applications, but any kind of application. More than that, I love searching for security flaws in any system, either hardware or software systems, but always with proper consent. I'm a perfectionist and fast learner and I'm looking for a job that challenges my mind to the limits and pays accordingly. I always had a soft spot for tech. My passion for creation and logic thinking started at the age of 10, when I started building Warcraft 3 maps. Soon after, I started leaning towards C++. It was a childhood dream to become a 'hacker', but for doing this I needed to understand how things worked. From low-level languages first. I then started to learn everything that I could, from every source. I became obsessed regarding information. I then started to build web applications. First static websites (HTML / CSS / JavaScript) then dynamic with PHP. After learning the basics, I started to learn about frameworks and how they work. Soon after I started to love the idea abstraction layers because of the simplicity, better understanding of the functionality and better code organization. Though these abstraction layers lower performance, they are often needed for large applications and teams. Building maintainable code requires organized code and unit testing. I became absolutely obsessed of code standards, unit testing and code reviews. I'm always eager to learn new things, not necessarily new programming languages, but principles, ideas. Every programming language has its traits and downsides and it's good to decide what programming language and technologies to use for a given project in order to optimize human and hardware resources in order to make a fast, reliable and sustainable application. After a long road, I can finally say that I became a white hat hacker and I'm proud to have worked with amazing people from the cyber security industry. But the road has not ended yet and there is so much more to learn. Only time will tell.
