Overseeing the Cost Accounting and Inventory Control functions of the two Connecticut facilities in Monroe and Newtown as well as the Delaware location in Newark. Acting as liaison between operations, finance, and the executive team. Directing semi-annual physical inventories and daily cycle counts. Supplying weekly metrics as well as producing a monthly P&L by Value Stream and Product Line. Participated in the ERP system conversion from ProMan to Oracle as part of the Finance and Operations teams. This company is a subsidiary of Coherent Corporation.

Responsible for the monthly financial reporting and business analysis of what was 7 North American manufacturing plants and 5 distribution centers under Panolam Industries International. This has been reduced to 3 manufacturing plants due to closures and sales. Overseeing physical inventories at both the manufacturing locations and distribution centers. Budget preparations. Coordinating with operations on reporting of activities. Fixed asset reporting. Participated in Campus Visits for the IMA. Working with PeopleSoft ERP system.

Responsible for the financial reporting and business analysis of the CT facilities. Overseeing the Cost Accounting and Inventory Control functions of the facilities. Involved with their lean manufacturing efforts. Supplying weekly metrics as well as producing a monthly P&L by Value Stream and Product Line. Made presentations at the 2012 and 2014 Lean Accounting Summits. Team coordinator for expansion into a second facility located in nearby Newtown, CT. Project Manager for ERP (Pro:Man) system upgrade. Responsible for costs and inventory reporting of several facilities within the HID Global group. These includes the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. At month end, I commented on variance analysis of all accounts above the gross margin on the income statement for the North American manufacturing facilities. Overseeing Cycle Count Programs and Physical Inventories of multiple facilities. Also responsible for Fixed assets of the 4 North American facilities. I was very involved with operations in their lean manufacturing efforts in the North American facilities. I developed a value stream income statement to support their decision making. I have made Lean Accounting presentations at the Lean Accounting Summit (2010) and a local IMA chapter meeting (2011). Worked on Oracle R12 upgrade transition team (from 11i). This company is owned by Assa Abloy.

I was responsible for costs within the facility producing mammography equipment. Also assisted the controller and assistant controller with month end variance analysis.

I was the Cost controller for the North Haven facility making frozen bread for Subway and frozen cookies for Mrs. Fields. I was responsible for costs and month end variance analysis. Initiated a cycle count program to reduce stock-outs. Trained new cost controllers at various other locations. The company used to be known as Leon's Bakery and has been bought/sold several times over the years. It also went by the name Chef Solutions, Fresh Start Bakeries, and now Otis Spunkmeyer.

This was a swimwear manufacturer for the Robby Len and Roxanne labels. I did the production planning for multiple manufacturing sites.

Started as a staff accountant and over the years became involved in various Operations departments as a Production Planner and Department Manager.

Started in Receiving unloading trucks and worked my way up to a department manager position in the Men's department. Alexander's was a New York City based department store chain.
