The Children's School is an independent, non-profit elementary school located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Founded in 1970 by Lila Bost McDill, TCS has an enrollment of 400 students serving children pre-primary (3-year-olds) through the sixth grade.Our vision is to be the diverse elementary school that nurtures children through the rigors of academic challenges and produces compassionate children of strong character who grow up to be responsible, productive global citizens.

1. Sigma Tau Delta International Convention, Albuquerque, New Mexico (April 2015) a. Session Chair  -Offered introductory remarks and introduced each presenter  -Moderated the session on war literature and facilitated discussion afterwards 2. International Conference on Caribbean Literature, Curacao (November 2014) a. Presenter  -Presented paper on Myriam Warner-Vieyra’s "Juletane," titled “Unleashing and Confronting the Monster of Pain” 3. Teacher of Color Preparatory Institute (October 2013-present) a.
