Prepared produce and meat for all of the departments of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden daily as well updated diet cards for the animals.

Oversaw security, helped students and professors find material throughout the library, answered common questions, checked out and re-shelved items, cleaned daily, and closed the library at the end of the day.

* Helped other students with homework and taught in an after school program. * I was given the task to help provide educational but fun projects for the students weekly.

In a few weeks i will be a Terrestrial intern which is designed to provide a broad-spectrum experience in the filed of professional animal care. The interns will be working with rainforest biologists while applying classroom knowledge and field experience to maintain the Aquarium's rainforest exhibit which houses a collection of otters, tropical birds, reptiles, amphibians, terrestrial invertebrates and fishes. Rainforest interns will also learn about managing the horticulture in a large greenhouse exhibit, including pest management, plant propagation and plant selection.

I am currently working for Dr. George Uetz and Mr. Brent Stoffer from the University of Cincinnati on a common wolf spider Schizocosa ocreata. My responsibilities include feeding, reporting deaths, cleaning the laboratory, disinfecting dishware, and helping other students with their own experiments on spider behavior.

Tutored students with all subject types, ran errands and filed paperwork for the Upward Bound facility. Most students I taught didn’t understand and or just didn’t like the class but had to pass. I made a creative game or different approaches for each student so they were able to learn but have fun.

Artist since 2007, I am an aspiring self-employed artist. For others I generally draw portraits of family members and pets. In my free time I draw wildlife illustrations. o I work in pencil, colored pencil, and even in ball point pen sometimes. I usually use white or black paper depending on what I am drawing and what my customers prefer. I am able to shade from light to dark or dark to light because it creates a challenge for me. o I also enjoy photography but not currently selling work.

On call as needed to provide meals, enrichment, companionship, and security when my clients are taking vacations.

I am currently going to the University of Cincinnati and majoring in Biology, minor in Sociology and Environmental Science. I plan to attend graduate school focusing in Animal Behavior.
