As a PlaySafe Ambassador, I serve as a values-driven leader and advocate for positive sport culture, upholding the True Sport Principles and Safe Sport initiatives within my training environment and broader community. Through leadership development, social media storytelling, and public speaking, I engage athletes, teams, and community partners in meaningful conversations about integrity, respect, inclusion, and athlete well-being.

After participating in the 2025 ACE South Africa service program, I now serve as a Student Ambassador to help expand awareness and engagement for this international civic leadership initiative. In this role, I support outreach efforts, assist in coordinating informational events, and connect with fellow student-athletes to share insights about the program experience. As an ambassador, I aim to mentor prospective participants, provide guidance throughout the application process, and serve as a trusted resource for my team and the broader campus community.

Selected as 1 of 13 Duke student-athletes to participate in the competitive international ACE Program through Duke Athletics. Over three weeks in Cape Town, I partnered with community-based organizations focused on youth development, education, and food security while engaging in cultural immersion and structured leadership reflection. I supported teachers and youth (ages 2–14) at under-resourced early childhood development centers and schools, using sport as a tool to build confidence, connection, and community. I also helped organize, package, and distribute meals and essential supplies to children and unhoused individuals. Alongside fellow student-athletes, I contributed to over 1,300 combined service hours across ACE international programs.

Provided friendly, customer-focused service while maintaining cleanliness and safety. Assisted with food prep, cash handling, and overall daily operations.

Founded and continue to organize an annual basketball fundraiser supporting breast cancer research. Raised over $10,000 cumulative while increasing community awareness. Designed and managed event social media campaigns, creating digital artwork and promotional content to drive engagement.

Coached and mentored kids ages 6-12 about the fundamentals of diving - takeoffs, form, aerial awareness, and safe entries into the water. Led and mentored youth during travel competitions.
