Facilitating preventative care programs for children with asthma in the Rochester community by leading in-home and clinic interviews with a strong focus on their access to care and family education Conducting telephone follow up interviews with patients and parents to track progress of their asthma control.

I worked as a TA for Neuropsychology (NSCI 242) working with Dr. Renee Madathil. My responsibilities include teaching two lectures, facilitating review sessions, hosting office hours, designing exams, and mentoring students.

I am currently a TA for biochemistry (Bio 250) at the University of Rochester. My responsibilities include hosting a 75 minute weekly workshop, hosting office hours, organizing review sessions, and grading exams.

I am currently a TA for foundations of neurobiology or NSCI 201 at the University of Rochester. I received an offer to TA for the class after taking it fall semester my sophomore year. I am required to attend three 50 minute lectures a week, as well as facilitate a 75 minute recitation every Friday. My responsibilities include grading exams, meeting one-on-one with students, and hosting review sessions before tests.

I am currently a Research Lab Assistant in the Xia Lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center. I am researching the effects of various gene knockout therapies on the rates of liquid liquid phase separation in the subunits of liprin alpha. I am also responsible for a variety of wet lab procedures such as performing mouse genotyping, cDNA work: as plasmid transformation, bacteria culturing, and DNA extraction, and transfection of HEK 293 cells and imaging. Additionally, I am responsible for making solutions and performing routine lab maintenance.

I was a TA for BCS 110 at the University of Rochester. I received an offer to TA for the class after taking it fall semester my freshman year. I am required to attend two 75 minute lectures a week, as well as facilitate a 75 minute recitation every Friday. My responsibilities include grading exams, meeting one-on-one with students, and hosting review sessions before tests.

I worked as a pre-college counselor at the University of Rochester for the Summer of 2023. I was responsible for a group of students in my hall, with whom I held one-on-one meetings, as well as facilitating larger activities for the entire program.

As a patient experience assistant, I was responsible for helping patients further their understanding of the GetWellNetwork and MyChart technologies during their recovery in the OR. My role was to help improve the patient’s overall recovery experience; I was also able to assist in vitals and patient transportation when necessary.

At Dick's I work as a footwear associate on the sales floor selling a variety of shoes. I have been awarded by the management team several times for my ability to help out in other departments such as team sports, fitness/wellness, apparel, and outdoors. While working I have to engage with hundreds of customers with a variety of different needs. Working at Dick's has helped me develop strong customer service skills.

I served as a technologist aid at F.F. Thompson beginning in the summer of 2022. There I worked in the CT department and helped the technologists with their tasks. I cleaned the rooms, stocked supplies, and transferred patients. I was able to have exposure to the medical field as well as learn bedside manner etiquette from medical professionals.
