The assignment was to found a new organization to manage global product availability in order execution window. In the end of this development project I became the head of this new unit. The mission of the unit is to ensure fluent deliveries to the customers of Nokia Networks by integrating planning and logistics execution

During this period I was responsible for global sourcing of goods and services to be purchased for Nokia’s own use (=production machinery, R&D tools, measurement equipment, R&D subcontracting, office equipment and office supplies). The task was to lead a group of purchasing managers who made global frame purchase agreements within their own commodity area, prepared and implemented their commodity area strategies together with their stake holder organizations. I was a member of global Nokia Networks Sourcing management team and acted as a deputy of the head of Nokia Networks Global Sourcing (VP Sourcing). I also initiated and later participated a project which planned and implemented a Nokia wide operating resource sourcing and purchasing organisation which replaced the old business group specific organizations

The task was to lead a global team of liaison managers and to agree, improve and align activities between regional customer logistics and global supply logistics as a member of Global order management organisation. I was also a core team member in a major outsourcing project.

Responsible for Supply Chain Management process at Teliasonera. Finland

* Our team is taking care of consumer electronics (mobile phones, laptops, tablets, modems, TVs, ...) * purchase planning * purchasing * delivery logistics * 3PL management (3 warehouses) * in Estonia, Lithuania & Finland.

IIn the beginning of July 2002 I was invited to join Nokia Networks wide multi year and multi phase operations development approach. The operational model was changed and all the many existing logistics systems were replaced with one integrated SAP R/3 system. Responsibilities: My tasks consisted of project management, cost control, change management, road mapping and steering in various Nokia and/or Nokia Networks wide process and/or system development projects.

IIn early 2001 Supply Network Management (SNM) organization was founded and its responsibility was sourcing, global production planning, customer order management and distribution. Responsibilities: I was invited to head business development group (about 20 people), which was responsible for execution of Business Planning process (strategy & short term planning), competence development, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, process and system development in SNM.
