Kei Yun Wong was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States in 1999. She earned her Bachelor Degree of Business Administration from the University of Memphis in 2005, and then she received her Master Degree in Finance and Internal Control from Harvard University in 2008. Right after her graduation, she and her colleagues developed a revolutionary portable-battery charging system for electric vehicle. After that, she started her own business named Libert-E Motor, a U.S.A. based electric vehicle company, and her business adventure was documented in Marketing Education Review, vol.21, no.3, 2011. Then, she had sold her company to a private-equity firm before she entered the business of sports licensing, manufacturing, and distribution of adidas from 2010 to 2015. In 2016, she joined the New Era family and became the General Manager of New Era China. Since then, she has been working closely with key sports licenses including MLB, NBA, and NFL as well as various collaboration partners like Tencent, Peking University, and Beijing Sinobo Guoan F.C.In Aug 2017, she opened the first New Era franchisee store in Shanghai. 3-years later, New Era has more than 300+ stores located in all provinces in China. Meanwhile, she prioritizes the digital E-Commerce strategy and has opened flagship e-stores on key e-marketplaces: TMall, JD, and VIP. In 2019, New Era was the number 1 best seller in the cap/bags/accessories category on TMall’s Single’s Day event.
