Qualifications: Photographer with over 40 years’ experience. Have shot over 200,000 still images and hundreds of hours of video of disaster related response and recovery activities for FEMA Region II since January 2013 —covering everything from steady state, response, recovery, and mitigation to portraits and editorial work. Technical expertise with all formats of still photography, video and post-processing applications. Responsible for maintaining $100,000 of Visual Imaging equipment, cataloging hundreds of videos and tens of thousands of images for the FEMA HQ Library, writing Visual Imaging reports, managing FEMA Corps members assigned to Visual Imaging (training and supervising them), managing all aspects of photo and video assignments to include coordinating production requirements with program areas, writing shot sheets, storyboarding visual elements, managing approval process and meeting deadlines. Qualified Coach/Evaluator when deployed to disasters.

“Principles of photography” A basic introduction to the camera through assignments utilizing functions such as f stop, shutter speed, ISO settings and pre-set programs.

I handled all photographic aspects of assignments. For five years I worked on the IBM bimonthly in-house newsletters, ”Horizons”, which consisted of six different editions, one for each internal division. I processed and printed film sent in from other photographers shooting at IBM facilities around the world, simultaneously photographing my own assignments in studio and on location in the Tri-State area. I worked on an ongoing co-advertising campaign for Newsweek. This included location shooting for an annual Newsweek brochure to promote the campaign itself. I also worked on a number of brochures and ads for many financial institutions, such as Standard & Poors, Bloomberg/Multex, and the NYSE.

Print Editions, Ltd. was a fine art printing studio, working with local, national and international artists, to create limited editions (from one unique print to editions of up to 300 prints) of hand printed, black & white and color, intaglios and engravings. Experience with stone and plate lithography, wood block and collography as well. The studio was founded in 1978 by K C Wilsey and C R Ettinger, recent graduates of The Philadelphia College of Art.
