2015年4月より現職。医療業界で30年以上の経験を有する。2021年から2023年までは韓国法人の社長を兼務。日本市場における流通モデルを確立し、過去10年間でシステム導入台数を200台から800台へ、手術件数においては約12倍の成長を達成。日本の医療保険制度の意思決定プロセスに係わる主要ステークホルダーとの信頼関係構築により、過去15年間で36件のロボット支援手術手技の保険償還に貢献。直近では株式会社フィリップスエレクトロニクスジャパンにおいてヘルスケア部門の副社長兼事業部長、2007年から2014年まで、ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソン株式会社のエチコン・エンド・サージェリー・ジャパンで副社長、およびアジア太平洋地域ASP副社長を歴任。Kazuhiro Takizawa has served as President of Intuitive Japan (Intuitive Surgical G.K.) since April 2015, bringing over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry to the role. He established a distribution model for the Japanese market and has successfully increased the installed base from 200 to 800 systems, achieving approximately 12-fold growth in the number of procedures. Through building relationships of trust with key stakeholders involved in the decision-making process of Japan's health insurance policy, he contributed to the reimbursement of 36 robot-assisted surgical procedures over the past 15 years. Prior to his current role, he held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President and General Manager of the Healthcare Division at Philips Electronics Japan K.K., and from 2007 to 2014, he was Vice President at Johnson & Johnson K.K., Ethicon Endo-Surgery Japan, and ASP Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region.
