BCN 3255C: Graphic communication in Construction: Study of construction communication tools, which includes mainly Autodesk Revit, blueprint reading,and google Sketchup. I helped in the labs to assist the students such that they get comfortable, navigating the BIM tools.

* Worked in the VDC department where work involved developing the BIM execution plan, Revit models, running clash detection tests in Navisworks, create 3D renderings in Lumion, and generate field coordination drawings from Revit models and AutoCAD drawings. * Used Assemble to generate schedules and produce smart as built models. * As a Project Engineer, work includes helping the Superintendent in field supervision, trade coordination, develop three week schedules, monitor trade work, maintain drawings, create and track RFIs, create daily and safety reports, and other project documentation. * Assisted Project Manager with schedules, budgeting, Purchase orders, invoices etc. * Successfully supervised Newks store as the Superintendent.

CACIM's research is mainly based on Advanced Construction Information Modeling (ACIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Information technology in the delivery of Construction projects, by using Model based precise quantity takeoff, Cost planning and schedule control and also effectively solving constructability issues and virtual sequencing using Navisworks.

* Handled residential, commercial and retail spaces from pre- construction to post-construction phase. * Developed Contract Management Strategy for payment procedures to Contractors, supported project management systems in accounting, contracts and procurement for work site. * Prepared conceptual estimates and estimated project cost for the projects according to client requirement. * Produced working Drawings,Electrical drawings,HVAC drawings etc. * Attended weekly meetings to coordinate with the clients and consultants

* Prepared a BIM execution Plan with the aim that it can be universally used for all WDW (Walt Disney World) and developing Revit modeling standards and templates. * Developed the BIM execution plan for the Fourth Laundry project. * Created Revit models and custom Revit families for the living seas and plant wall (land) project at EPCOT and created a federated Revit model for a project at Typhoon lagoon. * Created sketch up models for the renovation of the Design and engineering building, the FOS courtyard landscape, and Train control station.

* Developed design concepts for apartments, villas, club houses, and a school, produced working drawings for the same and attended meetings to coordinate with other service consultants. * Took part in the formulation of a module for SOS children’s village’ and the model generation * Developed schematic designs, electrical ,plumbing and presentation drawings for a Convention & training center [IMTMA-Indian Machine Tool manufacturer association]

Won three national competitions : 2003 - Louis I Kahn trophy 2004 - Louis I Kahn trophy 2004 - HUDCO [Housing and Development Co orperation] trophy . As a Student Body president and Designee i was responsible for attending all the National and Zonal meetings and to prepare and guide the team for competition. I was responsible for all the Department tours and all other financial matters.
