Katrin A. Robertson

I have over 30 years of experience in premium large-format out-of-home advertising. I became CEO of blowUP media Group in 2013 and under my leadership, blowUP media, part of the Ströer Group, has grown into a leading player within the (D)OOH market across Europe. I have driven blowUP media from an iconic Giant Poster provider into a company at the forefront of creative outdoor media solutions – with cutting-edge Digital Screens innovations across the Group. I am also spearheading numerous sustainability initiatives within the blowUP Group, which are significantly reducing the company’s product carbon footprint through eco-friendly materials, green technologies, and climate-conscious production processes – efforts that have earned several industry awards. In my role as a board member of the World Out of Home Organization, I lead the WOO Sustainability Task Force. I am also a jury member of the Campaign Ad Net Zero Awards 2025. As a passionate advocate for female empowerment, I sit on the “Women in WOO” board, where I champion visibility, mentorship, and leadership opportunities for women in media around the world. I am furthermore a member of the NABS 100, a network supporting professionals across the media and advertising industry in the UK. I have been working internationally for decades and am based in both London and Düsseldorf.
