I work as a junior researcher and as a project manager at the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT), School of Engineering Science in the department of Entrepreneurship and Management. My research topic is emergence of regional entrepreneurial ecosystems, especially university's role in the functioning and development of the ecosystem. My work also includes implementation of the entrepreneurial strategy of the university, as well as development of entrepreneurial actions in various national and international projects. I currently concentrate on my PhD studies. My research topic is about universities as entrepreneurial ecosystems. In addition, I work as a project manager in a national project that aims for enhancing student entrepreneurship in universities. Moreover, I work in an international project that aims for enhancing innovation and entrepreneurship skills of doctoral students.

My latest assignment at LUT was in the unit of Innovations and Enterprising. I worked as a project manager and my work included running of development projects related to entrepreneurship promotion. In addition, I participated in the planning and implementation of the entrepreneurial strategy of LUT. During the years 2010 - 2016 I worked as a project manager in various Russia related projects and worked as a representative of LUT in St. Petersburg. I started my career at the university as a Coordinator in the Northern Dimension Institute (NDI), which is an open network community of universities and research institutes combining expertise in the priority sectors of the Northern Dimension policy.
