* Supported the European Finance Director, ensuring European Financial results were reported on a timely and accurate basis. * Duties and Responsibilities: * Guide and Support 10 Country Finance Managers, giving guidance, training, and support and reporting updates. * Manage and coordinate pan European P&L and Balance sheet planning/ forecasting processes and consolidate results. * Analyse European monthly and quarterly performance vs. plan, prior quarter and prior year, ensuring accuracy and consistency of reporting by country finance managers. * Manage and present European quarterly reporting and recommendations package to senior management. * Drive 2.5% cash-flow improvement through implementation of best practice inventory and receivables reporting (including DOS & DSO metrics) across Europe. * Business partner to European HR Director ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of headcount and restructuring related savings.

* Initial industry role reporting directly to the Divisional Finance Manager. * Duties and Responsibilities: * Liaise with all European/ global Finance Managers to coordinate information and ensure deadline compliance. * Assist the Divisional Finance Manager in consolidating, reviewing and analysing the monthly results for a worldwide group of manufacturing and selling sites. * Prepare and maintain consolidated adjustments, liaising with corporate and external auditors to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other reporting standards. * Maintain consolidation system (Hyperion Enterprise) and ensure accurate reporting of global divisional numbers into corporate HFM system.

* Supervisory role, leading audits and guiding/ mentoring a team of 3 across a broad range of clients and industries. * Duties and Responsibilities: * Planning and completing statutory audits, solicitor and conveyance audits and charity audits. * Full audit responsibility, including planning, resourcing, execution and report-out, within deadline and budget. * Statutory and management account preparation and VAT returns for owner managed businesses. * Translation of accounts from UK GAAP to IFRS. * Corporate and personal taxation.

Look after the monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting of our Northern Europe Commercial Business. Countries in my region include Ireland, UK and Nordics with 3 direct reports. Part of this role is to Business partner the commercial lead and directly support the Finance director.
