As an Assistant Womenswear Fashion Buyer at Cotton Traders, I support the end-to-end buying process across the menswear department. My responsibilities include analysing market trends and sales performance, assisting in range planning, and managing product development from concept through to delivery. I work closely with suppliers to ensure products meet the brand’s quality standards, commercial objectives, and customer expectations.

Buying Admin Assistant (1.5 years Branded // July - Present Jacamo OL) I support the Buying and Merchandising teams in delivering customer-focused, trend-led product ranges. My role involves managing the day-to-day administrative functions of the department, maintaining accurate product data across systems, and ensuring critical paths are on track for timely launches. I contribute to trade reporting, sample management, and market analysis to help inform strategic buying decisions. With experience in the electrical category and familiarity with the SOA process, I bring strong attention to detail, organizational efficiency, and a passion for delivering great products to customers.

Maintaining advanced knowledge and skills in Adobe Creative Cloud to edit content for social media, combining both hand and digital design work. Pattern grading and cutting of production styles, creative pattern cutting and adapting of samples. Assisting on photoshoots and fashion shows, whilst upholding brand values and design identity. Taking stock counts for shipments to suppliers and updating costing sheets with the relevant materials for garments. Staying consistently up to date with potential trends and general politics in industry throughout the seasons.

- Making final decisions on style, placement and proportions on photoshoots. - Following instructions efficiently in order to fulfil the visions and mood-boards of the customer and head florist. - Prioritising time management to work towards clear deadlines whilst maintaining the appearances of fragile plants, flora and foliage for the freshest arrangements. - Creative problem solving and thinking outside the box to create structures and ornate decorations.

In a busy and fast pace construction office I would process the invoices and provide assistance to the company accountant. Working within a team to communicate and ensure deadlines were met. Alongside a variety of other tasks involving heavy use of Excel spreadsheets and direct communication with suppliers to correct data in the pricing documents.

The role requires quickly transferring my knowledge of textiles to better communicate with customers, helping them get the best product for their needs. Within this role of selling I maintained the departments high standards of presentation and aiding in creating a positive shopping experience.

Tending directly to customers needs whilst maintaining the atmosphere and professionalism of the restaurant. Communication was essential in ensuring the larger events the restaurant would host, this was the key in creating harmony within the workforce in stressful and demanding situations.
