CoFounder of Zephyr Mattress. A sleek, oscillating mattress designed for users with muscular dystrophy. Completed a quality manual using FMEA matrix and ISO standards. Currently searching for investors and mentors in the medical device industry. Participant in University of Washington ICORPS, and Washington State University Jones Milestone Accelerator. Finalist at the University of Washington Hollomon Health Innovation Challenge, 2nd Place at the Northwest Entrepreneur Competition, 1st Place - Judges Choice at Life Science Innovation Northwest Pitch Competition.

Responsible for overseeing 10 person Softgoods Sales Team, educating customers on proper outdoor gear and safety, promoting the Co-op Way and REI Co-op membership, and providing excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include visual merchandising, physical inventory, and banking (cash deposits). Top 3 membership seller on the Kennewick Team.

A mentor for students interested in getting involved in undergraduate research at WSU. Holds weekly office hours for individual appointments. Participates in on campus presentations and events to promote on campus research.

Responsible for teaching a 1 credit Introduction to Honors course for the WSU Honors College. Created a syllabus and came up with weekly presentations on campus resources.

Works as an undergraduate researcher in the Gait and Posture Biomechanics Laboratory at Washington State University. Works closely with human subjects taking anthropometric data and recording motion with motion capture technology. Data analysis through Matlab and Simm. Data analysis and processing through Motion Corp. software. IRB (CITI #22931025, expires on 8/15/2022) trained for work with human subjects.

Regular part time employment (25 hours per week) as a store cashier. Responsible for completing customer transactions and sharing my passion for the outdoors! Opens and closes store: responsible for counting tills and the store safe.

Worked on Christine Brown's campaign for Congress in WA's 4th CD. Assisted in organizing canvasses and recruiting volunteers. Worked in and among community members to grow a grassroots campaign. Represented the campaign at local meetings and rallies.

Accepted to present at National Collegiate Honors Conference in Boston, MA. 3rd Place. Worked as a researcher on a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates grant. The REU focus is Technical Experience in Advancing Modeling Sciences. Based at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. Spent 10 weeks in Rapid City, SD working in a research lab studying the enzymatic activity of fructosyltransferase. Worked independently performing literature reviews and designing experiment protocols. Took part in weekly presentations of research to mentors and peers. Engaged in seminars on technical communications, statistics, data verification and validation, and research ethics. Presented a research poster at the South Dakota EPSCoR Summer Research Symposium. REU grant was extended through April of 2018.

Worked off of a USB Research Grant for ideaCHEM - a startup company based out of Rapid City, SD. Involved in protocol development. Responsible for presenting weekly updates to other members of research team. Published results for grant extension.
