The publication continued the artist’s interest and exploration of the giant vegetable phenomenon and the launch event, which took place on Halloween, staged the first UK giant pumpkin drop from the height of a crane. My work involved: bringing together the creative programme for the day (children’s workshops, tours of the botanic gardens, film screening and giant pumpkin drop), booking and liaising with external contractors, producing health and safety documents and supporting the site management on the day of the event.
