* At TU I worked as a Junior Designer on the Newborn boys and girls area, where I managed a team of 2 people. * Designing both garments and accessories for girls, boys and unisex babies from birth to 2 years, I designed commercial and fashion forward ranges for the Sainsbury's customer. * The job role involved creating colour stories, mood boards and collating trends which were presented to the teams and management, before designing and sampling ranges, using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator design software. * Here I travelled overseas for both product development and inspiration.

My first job after graduating, I was offered a position on the newborn design team after completing a work experience role here whilst at university. I assisted my designer in her role by helping design, tech pack, prep for meetings, pull together colour palettes and moodboards, and general assistant duties. Here I was given my first travelling experiences as I was sent to Pitti Bimbo for the first time, and also to Hong Kong whilst working for the Toddler Boys department, which I was promoted to after 16 months. Next was a great company to work for and I enjoyed my job there, I left to climb the ladder as I was very hungry for more responsibility!!

Working as a freelancer 2-4 days a week for the last 8 months for the supplier Poetic Gem, designing girlswear fashion ranges from 3-14 years for high street retailers including George, Tu and Matalan. Here I designed both ranges and individual pieces designing both graphics and garments.
