Kathy Hammond

BIO Kathy is Co-CEO and Founder of CareerGoggles, a career strategy consultancy focused on professional branding, strategic communication and career development. She heads GogglesPro and GogglesCollege, specializing in resume development, interview preparation and networking, and works with clients ranging from college applicants to C-level executives, across industries including finance, legal, healthcare, technology and media. Before transitioning to career consulting, Kathy worked in diverse industries including publishing, media, banking, technology, and professional services. As a seasoned executive, Kathy led organizations and high-performing teams during periods of intense change due to acquisitions, mergers, consolidations, and rapidly shifting market conditions. Special expertise includes working with clients to transform business models outmoded by changing technology. As President of Hammond Incorporated, and subsequently COO at FPG (Getty Images), Kathy led the conversion from analog to digital delivery of content and re-vitalized respected but dated brands, revolutionizing production, design, marketing and customer service. At the NY Times Company, she transformed the Classified Call Centers by realigning business processes to achieve customer service excellence. As Managing Director of Luminant NY, Kathy led the integration of five tech consulting firms. Kathy has used her extensive experience in sales and marketing to design and deliver business development training programs including: cold call coaching, Customer Service Excellence, and building trusted relationships. She has also coached leadership skills, career transitioning, interviewing skills and personal branding. She has a B.A. from Cornell University, is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board. She served as a Director of Hammond Incorporated (Executive Comm), Summit Bank, the Association of American Publishers (Executive Comm), and as a Trustee of Newark Academy.
