Architected optical systems for DUV interferometry platforms, defining platform-level error budgets, performance specifications, and optical-path interfaces. Led cross-functional integration across mechanical, electrical, control, and algorithm teams while planning next-generation platform roadmaps.

Performed system-level modeling for illumination, imaging, aberrations, stray light, thermo-optical behavior, and opto-mechanical tolerances. Defined module-level optical requirements and performance boundaries. Supported prototype builds and system integration.

Designed freeform and aspheric optical components, developed Zemax/CodeV models, and conducted tolerance analysis and bench-level validation. Collaborated with opto-mechanical teams to refine manufacturability, alignment, and long-term stability.

Developed and validated system-level performance for high-speed TOSA/ROSA transceiver modules, including laser characteristics, thermal behavior, electro-optical response, and reliability consistency. Collaborated with suppliers and manufacturing teams to enhance manufacturability and yield.

Worked on VCSEL short-reach optical modules, optimizing coupling, optical paths, and signal integrity. Supported alignment, assembly-quality improvements, and manufacturing transfer for early-stage optical-module platforms. Transition Note：Leveraged hands-on experience with RF/EO prototype integration, environmental testing, and opto-electronic module characterization at Honeywell as a foundation to transition into optical communication module design at Finisar.
