I aim to advance the standard of care by translating rigorous, data-driven research into innovative therapies that meaningfully improve the lives of patients. As a Senior Scientist at Zyneyro, I work at the forefront of chronic pain research. The role challenges me intellectually and allows me to do what I care most about: converting complex scientific questions into clear, executable research that delivers impact in a fast-moving environment. A key part of my work has been improving the translation between pain measurements in the clinic and the laboratory, work that has been presented and recognized internationally. My scientific background area is the interplay between addiction (Frontiers in Pharmacology 2022, NPP 2020, EJN 2019, eNeuro2018, Journal of Neuroscience Methods 2017), dopamine signaling (Cell Reports 2024, JCI Insight 2021, Neurochemistry International 2020, JoVE 2017, EJN 2016) and chronic pain (Scientific Reports 2025, JCI Insights 2024, Front Cell Neurosci 2021, EMBO 2020). Across these areas, I have maintained a strong emphasis on rigorous methodology, data-driven decision-making, and high standards of quality and reporting. I am highly analytical, deeply focused, and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. I thrive in challenging tasks, manage deadlines well, and take pride in delivering work that is both thoughtful and actionable. My ability to deeply focus also means I often catch small but important details others may overlook. Equally important to me are integrity, transparency, and the courage to follow the data. I have a clear moral compass and a strong sense of personal accountability, guided by solid work ethics and respect for both science and people. I believe good science is not just about results, it’s about how decisions are made and whether the data is allowed to speak, even when it challenges assumptions. What I value most about working at Zyneyro is the alignment between the company’s culture and my own values. I value environments where trust is real, feedback is direct, and standards are clear. These are the conditions where people think critically, collaborate effectively, and take responsibility for outcomes.
