Currently responsible for coordinating HR related practices and objectives, providing operational and consultative services, in the areas of recruitment, employee development, employee relations, benefits and general administration. As well as for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with assigned business units to ensure goals and objectives are achieved and aligned. In addition to the Generalist role, I am also responsible for acquiring and maintaining employee benefits. Employee benefits can include: health, vision, dental insurance as well as post-tax benefits such as accidental, hospital indemnity, critical illness and/or supplemental short-term disability; 401K plans; weekly, bi-weekly and monthly audits for proper compliance; benefit invoices; COBRA; responsible for company wellness program and ultimately play an active role in Open Enrollment workshops.
