About

Kathleen King began photographing fashion and beauty in her New York City studio where she produced her photography for national campaigns and editorials; such as, Avon, DeBeers Diamonds and Andy Warhol's Interview Magazine. When she returned to the Seattle area she continued shooting fashion for Northwest retailers and editorials for east coast publications. A referral from a Seattle Graphic designer, landed Kathleen a shoot for the Forbes ASAP premier issue with Bill Gates and John Sculley. From that point, the topic of her work includes corporate personalities in technology and finance. As an assignment photographer, Kathleen has traveled extensively. In seeking a personal balance, Kathleen has volunteered her own time during post-conflict and in peace; and, to photograph in some of the world's poorest communities such as Albania, El Salvador and Kenya.
