3 months contract job - responsible for forecasting demand and ordering stock in line with forecast specifically for BOM SKUs. Optimising the balance of inventory across the supply chain network to meet agreed stock holding policies and service level requirements.

Providing accurate Demand Plans to ensure optimum stock levels whilst reducing transportation costs. Effective management of goods supply to the customers. Ensuring high level of customer service across all aspects of the business.

Supporting the Logistics department, I worked closely with both Suppliers and Production to ensure material requirements for all unique model builds are satisfied in a timely and accurate manner. I work very closely with the Purchasing Department to understand new suppliers and new components being introduced smoothly.

I worked on a major outsourcing programme ‘Flex’ with Fujitsu in a project support role working directly to the HMT CIO.

I provided training, support and advice on project planning standards on a global outsourcing programme for Credit Suisse to BT project managers, ensured that the correct processes and methodologies and standards were being followed.

Ensuring escalation lists and slides are kept up to date, chasing Project Managers for the latest status of actions, preparation of briefing packs for Senior Executives, both customer and internal, managing and delegating escalations and actions via a central mailbox and telephone, as well as assisting the admin team in carrying out other duties.

Supporting the Operations Manager in managing and coordinating the activities of our supply chain and its partners, optimising the Company’s efficiency and working capital whilst maintaining the service levels demanded by our customers.
