I'm a freelance journalist and content writer who specializes in personal finance, work, health and consumer trends. In addition to being a contributing writer for Forbes and Monster, my work has appeared in more than 20 national publications, including All You, Family Circle, Fitness, Good Housekeeping, Health, Money, More, Parade, Parents, Real Simple, Redbook, Self, Shape, Woman's Day and Women's Health. Online, I've been a contributing blogger on AOL and RealSimple.com. Prior to going freelance in 2007, I held staff positions at both Good Housekeeping and Money. I've also held freelance positions at Kiplinger's Personal Finance and Entertainment Weekly. I have appeared on CNN, ABC, CBS and local New York TV stations, as well as several radio shows. I was nominated for a Business Journalist of the Year Award in 2008. I attended the University of Virginia for my undergraduate degree and Northwestern University for my master's. I live in Westchester, New York with my husband and two daughters.
