* Innovation * Strategy * Energy Policy * Science and innovation policy* Managing international networks Throughout my career I have acted at the interfaces between science and technology researchers, funders, policymakers, end-users and wider public stakeholders. I have experienced first-hand the practical challenges of commercialising and implementing new technology as well as developing policy to encourage consumer uptake at national and international Government levels. I currently act as an External Advisor for the Office of the Chief Science Advisor, New Zealand (www.pmcsa.org.nz) leading an initiative which brings together policymakers and funding agencies across 6 countries (New Zealand, Israel, Singapore, Ireland, Denmark, Finland) to jointly analyse and develop science and innovation policy (www.smalladvancedeconomies.org), including support mechanisms for private sector innovation. I hold 5 years of experience of working as a specialist consultant in the energy and low carbon transport sectors.
