Counsel, Office of the Naval Inspector General Managed the Office of Counsel. Advised the Naval Inspector General and staff on senior official and whistleblower investigations. Advised leadership and line managers on employment and labor law, contracts, ethics, and general business matters. Oversaw the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)/Privacy Act program and provided information law advice.

Associate Counsel, Employment Law and General Law, Strategic Systems Programs Advised employee and labor relations staff on employment law matters including recruitment and retention, employment agreements, directed reassignments and workforce restructuring, conduct and performance, disciplinary matters, reasonable accommodation, background investigations, and policy development. Represented the agency in employment law litigation before federal administrative bodies and partnered with outside counsel from the Department of Justice on federal district and circuit court litigation. Conducted workplace dispute and equal employment opportunity mediations as an agency-certified mediator.

Assistant Counsel (General Law) Strategic Systems Programs, Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific Sole on-site attorney responsible for employment and labor law advice and litigation, ethics & compliance, fiscal law & contracts, and support for internal investigations.

Employment Law Litigation Attorney Represented the agency at arbitration and in litigation in roughly 100 matters before the EEOC and other federal administrative bodies. Partnered with the U.S. Attorney's Offices for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California to defend the agency in Title VII district court cases. Advised managers, labor relations, and human resources clients on issues involving collective bargaining agreement interpretation, employee conduct and performance matters, workers compensation and state unemployment claims, reductions in force, wage & hour investigations, and reasonable accommodation requests and policy.
