Managed broad portfolio of country engagements with Eastern Partnership countries of Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus, including large assistance portfolio (multi year 6 bn). Spearheaded work across DG NEAR regions with International Financial Institution, developed ground breaking guarantee instrument (EFSD).

Managed the largest geographic directorate in Directorate General for Regional Policy. In annual commitments and payments responsible for over 13 billion Euros.
