Katarina Kåhre

As a People Expert at Idax, I worked both operationally and strategically to strengthen organizations' People processes. I particularly gained experience in recruitment and onboarding, policy development and revision, as well as Employer Branding and HR marketing to attract and retain talent. I was also involved in planning and hosting events and internal initiatives, both internal and for clients.

During my internship, I gained broad experience in HR and developed both operational and strategic skills. I enhanced my HR competencies in recruitment, onboarding, and labor law. I worked with reference checks, candidate selection, and gained insight into contract drafting and policy revision, as well as analyzing employee surveys and salary mapping. Furthermore, I planned workshops focused on stress management and feedback and conducted follow-up meetings on onboarding and employee engagement. Additionally, I gained insights into team development, psychological safety, and conflict resolution through interview guide development and survey analysis. Finally, I participated in an AI event to explore the future use of AI in HR and had the opportunity to network with a newly graduated HR specialist, broadening my understanding of industry developments.

As the Business Hour Coordinator, I took on the responsibilities of a project manager, organizing events and defining engaging themes and structures. I initiated contact with and booked internal speakers in advance, invited part-time assistants, and managed logistical details for a pleasant atmosphere. Actively collecting feedback from past events, I strived for continuous improvement. This role allowed me to contribute passionately to the development of Business Hour events and positively influence organizational change.

In my previous position as a Staffing & Service Assistant, I played an integral part within the staffing team, proactively managing staffing needs for some of Academic Works' key clients. I also reviewed and evaluated resumes and cover letters for one of Academic Works' collaborative partners. My role called for a solution-oriented mindset and developed service skills, as I engaged in daily interactions with clients and consultants. Additionally, it required a methodical approach to administration and documentation. After a month in my role, I was rewarded the 'Assistant of the Month' at the Linköping/Jönköping office with the following motivation: "What a fantastic start! From day one, you demonstrated great initiative and brought positive energy to the team. Both achieving above-target results in process goal fulfillment for the TRA, and being appointed as the Business Hour Coordinator at the national level in Sweden within your first weeks – we were so impressed and looked forward to following your journey!"

During my time at Crowd Collective as the People and Business Coordinator, I oversaw a multifaceted range of responsibilities. I managed the recruitment process, which involved tasks such as job posting, Talent acquisition, conducting interviews, and guiding candidates through the onboarding journey. Additionally, I handled diverse aspects of office administration, including policy development, legal agreements, travel billing, employee document management, event coordination, and effective invoicing and receipt management; all of which significantly enhanced my administrative skills. Furthermore, I gained valuable experience in marketing by planning and implementing local marketing campaigns.

Was hired as a consultant with assignment at Fergas Group as a HR Administrator.

Worked as a consultant through Unitalent, with a primary focus on assisting in the implementation of a new HCM system at Fergas North Europe and Fergas Group International. In addition, I was involved in developing an implementation model and created a training program for Fergas Group users. At the same time, I provided support to the global HR team in various areas, such as administer HR Master Data management and policy development.

Was responsible for managing orders, onboarding new colleagues and invoicing. Furthermore, I bring over four years of hands-on experience in the retail industry, specializing in sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
