I research hardware and software for networked embedded systems with resource and energy constraints. I am interested in problems at the intersection of embedded systems, the Internet of things (IoT), embedded AI and Tiny Machine Learning, wireless communication and network protocols, self-organizing sensor networks, distributed algorithms, operating systems/run-times, and many more. My current research activities include: - Software and hardware support for intermittent computing - Transiently-powered networking, computational RFIDs, backscatter communication - Tiny Machine Learning and inference on the edge (Edge AI).
