Hello there!I’m Kartik Thakare, a graduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology pursuing an MS in Electrical Engineering (Digital Systems). I have a strong foundation in Digital Logic, ASIC Design and Verification, FPGA Prototyping and Computer Architecture, with hands-on experience in tools like Cadence Virtuoso, Xilinx Vivado, Quartus Prime, ModelSim, and Altium Designer.At RIT, I serve as a Graduate Research Assistant, contributing to technical manuscripts and research in electromagnetic engineering, and as a Laboratory Assistant, managing lab spaces and equipment to support student learning. Previously, I worked as a Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where I handled SAP Basis administration, system optimization, and Java Web Dynpro development. I also co-developed a patented system for tracking the movements of badminton players.I’m passionate about leveraging technology for real-world solutions, and I am currently seeking a Summer/Fall 2026 internship or full-time opportunities in Fall 2026 for roles in Physical Design, FPGA Prototyping, ASIC Design and Verification.
