As the Moore's law comes to an end, computer architects need to develop radically new architectures to continue the growth in performance while achieving the best possible efficiency. I consider this to be one of the most challenging junctures in computer architecture research; this keeps me excited as a researcher and motivates me to innovate new methods to improve the efficiency of computing. I envision a future in computing where the supercomputers will be powered by domain specific massively heterogeneous architectures.
