Ensure completeness and accuracy of all financial records (IFRS and local GAAP). • Building and maintaining relationships with external service providers, Auditors & Consultants in driving timely engagement completion while seeking out efficiencies. • Deal with local reporting requirements to different institutions: national bank, statistics institute, tax authorities.

• Controllership - Managing Controllership activities for European, APAC and Indian entities. • Reconciliation - Review monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet Accounts. • Complete sign off of Annual Financial Statements and Corporate Tax for the assigned entities. • Actively participating in the year-end and monthly financial close through G/L review and suggesting any adjustments needed. • Work with Group Finance for reports and disclosures related to group accounts, tax work etc. • Audit - Liaison with Statutory Auditors & Group finance in ensuring smooth closure of Group Audit & Statutory Audit.

• Managed the US GAAP General Ledger (R2R) and Local compliance for APAC entities.

Responsible for Corporate tax compliance for the legal entity (consisting 8 operating units) and compliance of all Statutory/Taxation (Direct and Indirect) laws for Karnataka operations

• Reporting - Preparation & analysis of MIS, actual-budget variance, cash flow statements, and controlled payroll management system for staff category. • Accounting - Preparation of Financial Statements for Statutory Audit & Tax Audit. • Audit - Finalization of accounts and preparation of periodical financial statements, entity level consolidation and statutory reporting. • Direct Taxation - Handled income tax related activities for the entity including audit, assessments, appeals and replying to the departmental queries/SCNs. • Indirect Taxation - Handled issues that arise due to indirect taxation concerning laws such as VAT, and Service Tax and perform all necessary procedures and practices for claiming Refund.
